Had it not been for our air conditioner units, I think the cats would be dead. It's been an unbearably hot few days - a summer heat wave on the East Coast - and it's pretty much impossible to spend much time outside. Coming to Boston, I was looking forward to summer nights where no jacket is required (unlike San Francisco), but the days have made me melt!I'm on a train, heading to New York for work, and we passed by some beaches about two hours ago (I think we were in Rhode Island.). Already, before 9am, people were laying down their beach towels and getting ready for a day at the beach! I guess this is probably the only hour where sunbathing is possible because I'm sure it'll be disgustingly hot at noon.
