For lunch today, I went to my neighborhood sandwichery and noticed that it was promoting a special sandwich: "Club Sandwich with Bacon!" To me, anything with bacon is, indeed, special so I ordered it promptly. But I realized that there was nothing "special" about the sandwich. It cost the same price as a club sandwich and an additional topping of bacon. There was no promotion here, just the eatery's normal item, written on a chalk board.
So, I asked the cashier what made the sandwich special when there was no reduction in price. She shrugged her shoulder and said she didn't know.
Nonetheless, the bacon was tres delish.
