Puppy and I are spending the hours before this evening's wedding exploring the Calistoga sights. We somehow managed to wake up early and go for a run (something I don't really do, so I'm quite proud of myself) and along the way we saw Calistoga's Old Faithful geyser, squirting above the trees. We also nearly ran over a snake, but fortunately we dodged it and swerved into traffic instead!Post-run, we walked through downtown Calistoga, ran into Policy Wonkette, had a pleasant meal and did some wine tasting. All before 1pm! Now it's time to lie out by the pool.
