Before leaving the 'burbs last night, I got to have breakfast with Franny in a little cafe. It was great to catch up with her since I hadn't seen her in so long, what with her living in Berlin and all.
Most of our conversation centered on her impending nuptials and the fun, fun, fun celebration that will take place in the fall. I think we took over a table for about two hours, and when we finally got up to leave, we realized a huge line had formed out the door.
I had a pretty standard omelette with bacon and spinach, but I totally had order envy when I saw Franny's poached eggs.
