Is Coraline supposed to be a kids' movie? Because Teri Hatcher as a skinny, skinny, needy button-eyed mother does not seem appropriate for most children.
Puppy and I donned 3-D glasses to see Coraline last night and it was a really pretty movie, with nice, subtle 3-D effects. Teri Hatcher's voice, however, is way too distinctive and sort of distracting. Given the context though, it was quite appropriate.
And luckily for us, our cab driver played us life-affirming Catholic sermons on the way home.
