Selives was in town for the past few days, celebrating the New Year with an "annual tipsy gypsy pub crawl," a tradition that apparently began on Saturday night.It was like old times, watching Selives, Mattress and Runyonce get dressed up in ugly drag (shawls, ratty wigs, lace things), apply tooth black to their beautiful smiles and severe makeup. Mahogany Sparkle, Roommates A&J, Puppy and I left the pre-party, went to a little cocktail get-together, then met up with the gypsies back in the Castro, where people were going crazy and insisting on taking photos with the vagabonds.
It was just like old times.
