It's difficult enough for me to get a comfortable night's sleep in a hotel room in a different time zone than I'm used to, but when some jerko pulls a hotel fire alarm at 5am, it pretty much kills any chance that I'm going to get a restful night's sleep. I was so confused when the fire alarm jolted me out of sleep and quickly dressed to go outside. I grabbed my phone and keys and joined the rest of the sleepy hotel guests in our reluctant march outside.
Shortly after we all assembled outside, the alarm stopped and the front desk clerk announced that some "asshole" had pulled the fire alarm on the second floor. Sadly, I haven't been able to fall back asleep, even though my first meeting isn't until 11am.
