Last night, Puppy, VALedictorian and I went on a romantical date with my parents! My mom was in town for a gift show and my dad was in town playing mah jong with his friends, so we met up for dinner at Straits Cafe. Afterward, the parentals returned home and the rest of us went to see Julie & Julia, which was a fun, whimsical chick flick. Meryl Streep was perfect, it was entertaining and all the theater full of ladies and gay men seemed to enjoy it immensely.
It was a far cry from the usual Saturday night shenanigans, that's for sure.
