Happy Chinese New Year, internets! I don't know whether this tradition is embraced by all Chinese, but our family celebrates the holiday with two feasts - one to end the year together and one to begin the new year together.Typically, I'm not able to make both celebrations due to work and logistics and all, so I had to skip the "closing" dinner last week. Fortunately, I was able to spend yesterday with the extended family, eating all sorts of yummy dishes which my grandparents had prepared lovingly for the past few days.
And like most every family gathering, we ended up watching television after dinner - last night was the Grammy awards - and opining on our favorite celebrities.
