I can't believe it's already June! Where has this year gone? After a low-key weekend of cleaning and errands, I ushered in June with a Sunday Funday extravaganza yesterday! Since Babs was in town to see his boyfriend off on the AIDS Life/Cycle, I met up with him for a little Sunday brunch before picking Puppy up from the airport.
Puppy, who'd been abstaining from alcohol for 10 days whilst on medication to take care of an ailment, was keen to get his drink on so we met Mahogany Sparkle, Roommates A&J, Blanca and ChickenHawk at the bar to partake in some libations. Then it was off to support a local lesbian softball team that was raising money through selling raffle tickets and jello shots. Approximately a dozen drinks/shots later, Puppy and I were dunzo so we scarfed down some grease and a pint of Ben & Jerry's. Puppy also experienced a bit of a malfunction at the 7-11, resulting in slurpee all over his face.
