A magician with meat

You know how some movies seem so full of promise? They sport a cast where each actor's fairly evenly likeable and capable and the premise offers a bit of hope that it could be well-executed? Well, that's how Puppy and I felt when we stumbled upon the movie Mama's Boy with Jon Heder and Diane Keaton. Throw in Anna Faris, Sarah Chalke and even Jeff Daniels, it seemed like the movie would be worth our while. Neither of us could remember its release, which was an ominous portent, but we decided to order it after we stuffed our faces full of Thai food last night.

Well, internets, it was one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Truly, truly horrendous. Even the lovely Diane Keaton could not make this monstrosity watchable. How can I get Puppy's $3.99 back?
