Today we had a series of presentations, including one that I had to give at the last moment (my scheduled time was for tomorrow, but I was asked to go today instead). The first half of the day was spent in a window-less hotel conference room. You know, the kind with drapes on the tables and chairs where they equip each seat with a notepad and a pencil etched with the hotel's name. But for the second half of the day, we were treated to a cruise of Kerala's backwater areas. We saw fishing boats and villages - all while giving presentations on board. Since we wrapped up at 5:30, we did sail around for a while and we were able to catch a magnificent sunset (see picture) before returning to the hotel.
